This policy takes into account Ivorian Law No. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013 on the protection of personal data.

The catalogue can be browsed freely, without creating a customer account. No payment is made online and no bank details are collected on the site.

When you contact us via WhatsApp, telephone or email, we process the information you choose to share (name, number, message, piece concerned) in order to answer your request and follow up the business relationship.

WhatsApp buttons open the WhatsApp app with a pre-filled message; nothing is sent until you confirm. Exchanges then go through WhatsApp (Meta), which has its own privacy policy.

To follow the site’s activity, we count page views as daily totals: page or piece viewed, approximate country and date.

The country is derived by the hosting infrastructure from the connection. Our statistics system stores no IP address, identifier or cookie, and cannot identify or track a visitor. There is no advertising profiling.

As with any website, displaying pages requires your browser to send technical data (IP address, browser type, preferred language, requested page). This is processed by the host to deliver and secure the site, under its own logging and retention rules.

Your browser’s preferred language and approximate country are used to display the site in the right language; they are not stored.

The site uses no advertising cookies or marketing trackers.

A “pp-langue” cookie is set only if you manually choose a language, to remember that choice for 12 months.

The administration area, reserved for the operator, uses browser local storage to keep the secure session. It does not concern visitors.

As these mechanisms are strictly necessary for operation or for your preferences, no consent banner is displayed.

Data is intended for the operator of Pierres Précieuses. It may be processed by the necessary technical providers: the site host (Lovable), WhatsApp (Meta) and the email service. It is never sold or rented.

Business enquiries received via WhatsApp or email: at most 12 months after the last exchange, unless a legal obligation or a justified need requires longer retention. These conversations are managed within the messaging services concerned; the site does not receive them and does not delete them automatically.

Statistics: anonymous daily totals, with no automatic deletion; they are kept until deleted by the operator.

Administrator session (operator only): kept in the browser until sign-out, with an access token automatically renewed every hour.

Host technical logs: period set by the host and not disclosed for this site.

Language cookie: 12 months.

The host and the services mentioned (Lovable, Meta, email service) may process data on servers located outside Côte d’Ivoire, in countries not specified for this site, under their own contractual safeguards.

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The administration is protected by a single account, public sign-up is disabled, two-factor authentication is available and data access is restricted by database-level security rules.
